Welcome to the Voyages Print Shop.

Born from a need to seek meaning and purpose, Voyages were collected from Earth’s upper atmosphere over all 5 oceans and 6 of the 7 continents (scheduled airlines don’t route over Antarctica).

Each Voyages photograph was then converted into a two-part virtual collectible consisting of a JPEG file (stored separately) and a token contract that maps collectors’ addresses to pointers to the JPEG.

This contract was then verified, compiled and distributed to thousands of Ethereum Full and Archival nodes spread across 6 of the 7 continents (No nodes in Antarctica that I know of).

Summoning Voyages from the metaverse into the everyday IRL spaces of Voyages collectors is sacred to me because it finalises and completes this cycle of collection, conversion and distribution. Physical prints are a key component of the artwork.

All print requests will be handled manually. Simply drop me a DM on twitter with your Voyages number and how you would like your print to be done; we can discuss costs, dimensions, substrate material, framing, shipping etc.

You are of course free to right click save from this website and print yourself, even if you don’t own the corresponding NFT.

It would mean a lot to me if you shared a picture of your Voyages once they are up on the wall or printed on to your coffee cup / shower curtain / toilet paper.

A note on image resolution and print resolution

The images on this website are JPEGs in sRGB with a 2100 pixel long-side.

The images I will use for minting are full res JPEG in sRGB.

5000 × 3000 pixel dimensions are typical for these images and would be good enough for most print work should you choose to do the prints yourself.

All of Voyages was shot in RAW on my Canon 6D which gives us a max image of 5472 x 3648 pixels. Many Voyages are cropped and / or straightened (which would then reduce the max dimensions).

As a collector you have access to the RAW files through me, which is to say I intend to keep custody of the RAW files but will make as many changes, crops, edits to the RAW as you would like. So if you decide down the line you would like to have a BW version of your Voyages instead of color or vice versa, I’ll get that done for you.

This service will end either once I kick the bucket or lose access to the RAWs in an unfortunate global extinction event, whichever comes first.

Print sizes depend on what resolution you would like, what distance you will view the print from, how grainy the photograph is and how much of that grain you would like on display. You also have advanced upsampling tools available that can create much larger prints while preserving resolution.
